As a Graduate in the Global Corporate Coverage Italy team, you will support the management and development of relationships with large corporate clients, multinational groups and entrepreneurial companies. You will work closely with senior bankers and product specialists, leveraging the bank’s global platform to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

The role offers broad exposure to the full spectrum of corporate banking and treasury solutions, including lending, trade finance, cash management, FX, commodities and interest rate hedging.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and senior bankers in managing and developing relationships with corporate clients and prospects.
• Contribute to the origination of new business opportunities in close coordination with product partners.
• Assist the team in identifying potential business opportunities and prospective clients.
• Attend client meetings and calls, assisting in the preparation of materials and follow-up actions.
• Perform financial statement analysis, credit assessment and risk analysis.
• Prepare internal memos and documentation for credit approval processes, committees and capital allocation forums.
• Coordinate with local and international Corporate Coverage teams to support deal origination and execution across the bank’s global network.
• Produce high-quality client presentations to support marketing and pitching activities.

Skills

• Strong academic background with a degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related discipline.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and credit analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-starting mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and, over time, with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian (fluency in English is essential).
• Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling skills are considered a plus.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
