Graduate Engineer Trainee

Major Responsibilities: 

This position will include the following activities:

• Produce gear drive assembly layouts for standard and modified gear drive systems, create detailed component drawings and certified prints - using SolidWorks and DraftSight.
• Design special components or modify existing components as required by our customers.
• Re-draw 2D parts into 3D models and assemblies
• Identify all drive system components, prepare Bills of Materials, and any other documents necessary for ordering and processing release of drawings, parts, or specifications.
• Check accuracy of the work produced by self and others.
• Transfer technical data between RegalRexnord Gear Group and sub-contractors.
• Follow established technical specifications/procedures to aid in design and repeatability of drawings.
• Support in creating design documents, installation instructions, customer data sheets etc.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and co-workers.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

• Education Requirement: Graduate (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum CGPA 70%.
• Years of Experience : 0-1year
• Prior experience and proficiency with using any of these: SolidWorks, Pro-E/Creo or Inventor, AutoCAD/DraftSight.
• Experience with any ERP systems like SAP/Oracle, PDM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in designing industrial gearbox parts and its accessories is an advantage
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task, as well as adapt well to change
• Desire to learn and grow within a team environment at a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing company.
