Course Description:
Current research and practice in educating students who have a variety of individual needs and strengths. The complex interplay between individual and contextual factors that impact learning in the modern classroom. Examination of abilities/disabilities, school and classroom dynamics, and teachers' roles in promoting an inclusive environment. Focus on applicable, practical skills such as curriculum design and modification, formal/informal assessment procedures, universal design for instruction, home-school collaborations, and differentiated instruction. Quebec Ministry of Education professional competencies are addressed and assessed throughout.

Position Summary:
This requisition is for one (1) position, at 50 hours for the term, in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education for Summer 2026.
Course dates are August 5, 2026, to August 20, 2026.
Effective dates of appointment are August 3, 2026, to September 4, 2026.
Responsibilities may include:
-Marks assignments and exams following set guidelines:
Completes grading keys and provides detailed feedback.
Completes grading by specific deadline.
Maintains records of grades by entering them into MyCourses and/or excel files.
-The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent.
-Attending one or more classes (MTWR 09:05AM-12:55 PM)
Qualifications:
Master's or PhD student, enrolled at McGill
Knowledge and experience of course content.
Ability to grade in French and English is an asset.
Bilingual is an asset.
