EDPE 555. Introduction to Learning Sciences

Course Description: Introduction to foundational theories of the learning sciences. Implications of theory on methodologies for the learning sciences in general, and for educational and instructional contexts in particular.

Position Summary:
This requisition is for (1) position, in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology


• Course dates are August 27, 2025, to December 3, 2025.
• Effective dates of appointment are November 24, 2025, to December 26, 2025

Responsibilities may include:
• Marking and grading
• Providing feedback on course work
• May need to attend classes (see Minerva for class schedule)

Qualifications: Grader should be a graduate student with a solid understanding of how to write basic essays.

• Graduate student.

• Contribute to grading assignments in the course.

•Candidates should possess strong writing skills and a history of grading the mechanics of academic writing (grammar, sentence structure, tone, etc.).

• Knowledge of multiple writing conventions is an asset.

• ECP graduate students will be given priority.

• Bilingual is an asset.
