Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a GN&C Program Manager 2 . This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
The GN&C Execution Support Manager will be responsible for providing program and operational execution support to leadership, Sr. Director & Deputy, of the GN&C organization across every aspect of day-to-day execution. The individual will have responsibility for helping lead a multi-discipline engineering team and assist in guiding all program activities related to design, development, and testing by focusing on delivering solutions, removing roadblocks, and simplifying large complex problems.
- Developing and translating strategic visions into long range plans and short/intermediate-term direction to the GN&C Organization while working through current EMD milestones and in parallel to Restructure and Omni-mod activities
- Lead GN&C Restructure and Omni-mod activities, schedule alignment, work package mapping, detailed planning, basis of estimates, etc…
- CAM/WPL duties to measure and report IPT performance utilizing earned value management and financial tools
- Lead Risk/Issues/Opportunity packages, mitigation, planning, and execution
- Execute Programs, Proposals, and Internally funded activities in a leadership capacity
- Communicate effectively and clearly to present programmatic and technical approaches and findings at technical and program review/boards
- Setting objectives, monitoring, and assessing progress
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders (including customer counterparts)

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, 6 years with a Masters, or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
- 3 years of technical leadership experience, engineering management, and/or program management experience of high value and visibility projects
These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:
- 2 years of experience with EVMS principals and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position
- Risk & Opportunity Management Experience
- Experience on ICBM or related programs - Specifically in Guidance, Navigation & Control
- Experience with operations to include facilities, staffing logistics, battle rhythm execution, metrics collection, etc.
Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
