The GPI Program designs, develops, and validates algorithms, software, and simulation tools that provide precision guidance, navigation, and control for aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, launch vehicles, and marine platforms throughout all mission phases—from powered ascent and coast to orbital insertion and interplanetary cruise. It processes sensor data statistically to feed realistic navigation models, formulates equations to achieve desired positions, orientations, or orbits, and creates control laws together with the necessary hardware and software specifications. Rigorous verification and testing ensure reliable performance during launch, staging events, and sustained operations in diverse environments.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
