Role Summary
The Business Operations Senior Associate is a critical contributor to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization, reporting to the Director of Business Operations. This role is highly visible and SVP‑facing, with primary accountability for executive‑level content development, communications, and leadership engagement.
The Senior Associate plays a central role in enabling the effectiveness of the GSC leadership team by preparing executive‑ready PowerPoint materials, drafting enterprise communications, planning and executing major leadership meetings, and supporting select operational and continuous improvement forums. With regular exposure to senior leaders, this individual is expected to exercise strong judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive, polished executive presence.
This individual brings a strong passion for developing others and is motivated by helping teammates grow—providing training, guidance, and day‑to‑day leadership to elevate capability across the Business Operations and administrative community.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive & Leadership Support
Prepare high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and briefing materials for the GSC SVP, including leadership readouts, talking points, and executive updates.
Develop slide content for recurring leadership forums, including the monthly GSC Business Operations CI Loop meeting.
Ensure all executive materials are clear, concise, visually compelling, and aligned to GSC priorities and enterprise messaging.
Leadership Engagement, Communications & Culture
Lead sub-committee to draft and publish the GSC newsletter, avatar videos and podcasts, partnering with leadership and stakeholders to curate content, key messages, and recognition moments.
Prepare and coordinate written and visual communications for GSC, including leadership announcements, organizational updates, and engagement initiatives.
Execute highly effective leadership meetings, including agenda development, logistics, materials preparation, action tracking, and follow‑up escalation.
Support and represent GSC in broader PGS recognition and engagement programs, helping to foster a strong and inclusive GSC culture.
Meeting & Event Planning (Signature GSC Forums)
Support planning of the quarterly GSC Leadership Team face‑to‑face meetings, including agendas, content coordination, logistics, and post‑meeting follow‑ups.
Support planning and execution of the annual Year‑Beginning Meeting (YBM) for GSC leadership.
Support the annual US GSC Early Talent meeting, including engagement for rotational colleagues and summer interns, partnering closely with Early Talent stakeholders.
Travel is required at least once per semester to support key leadership meetings and events.
Business Operations & Continuous Improvement
In partnership with Finance and the GSC Leadership Team, support budget reviews and financial stewardship, including trend identification and cost optimization.
Serve as the back-up for procurement processes, including PO management and invoice reconciliation.
Document, track, and report organizational metrics, supporting transparency and operational rigor.
Project, Program & Digital Enablement
Manage and support key business operations projects, tracking progress against objectives and identifying risks, overlaps, and improvement opportunities.
Maintain and optimize digital collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) to enhance information flow, content governance, and knowledge sharing.
Talent & Team Development
Chair weekly administrative team meetings, providing mentorship and guidance.
Support additional talent development and Early Talent initiatives as needed.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 0+ years of experience; or Associate’s degree with 6years of experience; or High School diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office; experience with Pfizer systems and digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Ariba, Concur).
Ability to operate effectively in a global, fast‑paced, and occasionally ambiguous environment, building strong partnerships across functions.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently with senior‑level stakeholders.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Demonstrated experience supporting senior leaders and producing executive‑level materials.
Strong written communications capability, including newsletters and leadership messaging.
Proficiency or working knowledge of Canva (or similar visual design tools) to support creation of polished, engaging executive and internal communications materials.
Experience planning large leadership meetings or multi‑day events.
Background in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or digital transformation initiatives.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $82 700,00 to $133 900,00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10,0% of the base salary.
