The Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Social Media Lead to cover a maternity leave and accelerate the growth of Royal Copenhagen’s global social media presence. This is a unique opportunity to own and evolve Royal Copenhagen’s social media strategy. You will drive both top-line creativity and bottom-line results by facilitating magnetic content, steering cross-market alignment, and guiding media investment across the funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of Royal Copenhagen’s global social media presence (primarily IG + TikTok)
  • Develop and execute platform-native content and campaign calendars that balance brand storytelling and performance together with peers in the Brand Marketing Team
  • Work closely with peers in the Brand Marketing Team to translate seasonal priorities and brand world themes into culturally relevant social expressions
  • Guide local markets on social media strategy and use
  • Define and report on clear KPIs across awareness, engagement, traffic, and follower growth
  • Collaborate with performance marketing to optimize content through insights and testing
  • Identify and manage creators and cultural collaborators who align with the brand’s craftsmanship and design heritage

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of social media experience with premium or lifestyle brands, ideally global in scope
  • Deep platform knowledge (especially TikTok and Instagram) and instinct for trend participation
  • A sharp mix of creative vision and analytical rigor; you think in formats and funnels
  • Comfort with owning both strategy and execution – from planning to posting
  • Confidence managing agency partners and/or internal content teams
  • Excellent English communication skills
