Global Reward Analyst

Summary

A Global Reward Analyst supports the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization’s global compensation, incentive, and benefits programmes. The role focuses on analysis, benchmarking, reporting, and process support to ensure reward practices are competitive, equitable, compliant, and aligned with Company objectives across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Job Evaluation & Grading – Support job evaluation, grading structures, and role levelling to promote internal equity and consistency.
  • Market Benchmarking – Support market benchmarking activities, including salary survey participation and analysis; help maintain market positioning (P50) by job level and position.
  • Compensation & Executive Reward Support – Support executive and senior leader compensation activities through data analysis, benchmarking, and modelling in partnership with HR and Finance.
  • Incentives & Reward Cycles – Support the annual launch and administration of bonus and sales commission processes; assist with reviewing incentive plan design to maintain alignment with Company goals.
  • Bonus Harmonisation Support – Contribute to the harmonization of bonus plan design, cost, and OTE for entities merged into Malvern Panalytical.
  • Budgeting & Cost Analysis – Work with Finance during the annual budgeting process to support country‑level merit increase planning and reward cost analysis.
  • Analytics & Reporting – Use reward analytics to identify trends and potential risks; prepare regular and ad‑hoc reporting on reward outcomes and workforce costs for HR and senior stakeholders.
  • Policy, Compliance & Pay Transparency – Support compliance activities related to reward governance, including contributions to EU Pay Transparency Directive reporting in partnership with Spectris, Op Cos, and HR Ops.
  • Systems & Data Management – Ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems; support Workday reward processes and improvements in collaboration with the Global HRIS & People Analytics Director and Spectris.
  • Stakeholder Support – Provide analytical support and guidance to HR Business Partners and HR Operations on reward policies, processes, and data interpretation.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with reward data analysis
  • Working knowledge of compensation and incentive principles
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly
  • Good communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills
  • Experience using HRIS and reward tools (e.g. Workday, Mercer, WTW, Korn Ferry)

Typical Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
  • Typically, 2–4 years’ experience in reward, compensation, or HR analytics
  • Experience working with salary surveys and market data
  • Exposure to incentive plans, executive pay, or global reward environments preferred
  • Knowledge of reward-related legislation; EU pay transparency exposure desirable
