The Role

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is seeking a Travel Manager to join the CAA Travel team. This individual will be responsible for supporting CAA’s Travel Program in partnership with the international travel lead and supporting all related travel activities. The Travel Manager is tasked with delivering data-driven, cost-efficient, and high-touch travel operations that support the needs of the business. This role blends analytics, sourcing, operations, and service to ensure consistency, discipline, and a seamless traveler experience.

This position supports travel operations with a strong emphasis on spend analysis, reporting, hotel sourcing, and stakeholder support. The Travel Manager partners closely with internal teams and external vendors to optimize travel spend, support complex travel needs, and drive program effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Data & Spend Management

  • Analyze travel spend across air, hotel, and ground to identify trends and cost drivers
  • Develop clear, executive-ready reporting and dashboards
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and a single source of truth
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Track and document travel savings across tools, vendors, and bookings
  • Own ongoing data analysis and reporting to support business decisions and travel program optimization

Hotel Sourcing & Negotiation

  • Negotiate hotel rates and sleeping room blocks in key markets
  • Support group, production, and event-related travel needs
  • Partner with preferred vendors to maximize value and availability
  • Manage hotel contracts, including cancellation and attrition clauses

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day travel operations and booking processes
  • Maintain accurate traveler profiles, systems, and shared data
  • Ensure adherence to travel policy and operational standards
  • Drive efficiency and consistency across workflows
  • Assist with travel booking tool administration, troubleshooting, and training
  • Monitor non-refundable tickets and credits to ensure timely reuse

Service & Stakeholder Support

  • Deliver high-touch, responsive service to executives and business teams
  • Manage complex, time-sensitive travel requests with professionalism and discretion
  • Balance traveler experience with policy compliance and cost considerations
  • Resolve issues effectively, particularly during disruptions
  • Support out-of-policy travel requests and T&E-related inquiries
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams, including Finance, Security, and Events, as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of corporate travel management experience at a global company, preferably within entertainment, production, or other high-touch environments
  • Strong understanding of airline, hotel, and ground transportation operations
  • Experience with travel platforms (Navan preferred) and/or GDS systems, including system administration and user support
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting, data analysis, and vendor negotiation
  • Experience with hotel group contracts, including cancellation and attrition clauses and basic legal considerations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to review, interpret, and leverage travel reporting to inform decisions

Location

  • This role is based in our Los Angeles office.

Compensation

The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $111,000 - $145,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
