The C2BMC Next Program, based in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide oversight and management for all C2BMC-Global (C2BMC-G) operations, including health monitoring and status reporting.

Your primary responsibilities will be to Direct day-to-day C2BMC-G activities to ensure the availability, quality, and security of services essential to mission systems, command and control (C2), and information sharing. Collaborate with the C2BMC Regional CWO and the C2BMC Command Center Lead.

What You Will Do:

• Reporting & Decision Support: Ensure all reports are accurate, keep leadership informed, recommend appropriate courses of action, and maintain real time status of all systems.
• Integrity & Training: Preserve operational integrity by guaranteeing crew members are properly trained, certified, and capable of executing assigned missions. Manage shift staffing, conduct thorough change over briefings, and verify proper manning levels.
• Shift Requirements: Work on a rotating 12-hour schedule that may include nights, weekends, and off shift substitutions; eventual 24X7 coverage is expected based on mission needs.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

What You Will Learn:

• Gain hands on experience directing the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (Ols) to effectively administer, operate and manage services under C28MC operational control
• Gain experience with leading personnel in operations and/or maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Gain experience with leading personnel in operations and/or maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Command and control system application development - Previous experience with message translation software Automated test and pipeline development experience
• Proficiency in Project Management Tools: Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms for scheduling, task management, and tracking project progress.
• Agile Methodology Expertise: Strong understanding and application of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, for iterative development and team collaboration.
• Risk Management: Skilled in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and implementing proactive solutions to ensure project success.
• Requirements Management: Experience in decomposing, prioritizing, and managing technical and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, and program leadership to achieve objectives.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
