Global Mobility Specialist, City Storage Systems - Makati City

What you’ll do

Immigration Coordination & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between employees, HR stakeholders, and external immigration law firms.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end immigration process (work permit, residence permit, renewals, extensions) in partnership with external legal counsel.
  • Ensure all required documents are collected, complete, and submitted to the immigration vendor on time.
  • Track case progress and proactively update employees and relevant stakeholders on timelines and next steps.
  • Maintain and regularly update the global immigration tracker or database, ensuring accurate and current case status.
  • Partner with external vendors to ensure timely delivery of immigration services and adherence to agreed service levels (SLAs).

Policy Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain and regularly update the Global Mobility Guides and internal Global Mobility page and related process documentation, based on updates from external legal partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Support compliance by performing basic checks on local immigration rules and aligning our actions with company policy, in accordance with advice from the Global Mobility Lead.
  • Generate regular reports (e.g., visa expiry reports, renewal status updates, SLA performance summaries) and share them with the Global Mobility Lead and HR leadership.

Employee and Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees and HRBPs on general immigration process queries.
  • Provide guidance on document requirements, process timelines, and expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (HR Operations, Rewards, HRBP/HRG, Payroll, etc.) to support smooth relocation and onboarding of employees.
  • Escalate complex immigration or compliance issues to external counsel or the Global Mobility Lead as appropriate.

Relocation & Assignment Support

  • Support the end-to-end coordination of international relocations and assignments, ensuring that immigration, relocation, and destination services are well synchronized.
  • Liaise with external relocation vendors to facilitate services such as shipment, temporary housing, and destination support for employees and their families.

Process Improvement & Project Support

  • Support the Global Mobility Lead with process improvement initiatives, policy updates, and automation projects to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Participate in ad-hoc global mobility or HR operations projects as assigned

 

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or HR operations, supporting international assignments or relocations.
  • Strong understanding of immigration processes, including work permits, residence permits, renewals, and extensions.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, HR stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HR systems or case tracking tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5- 10 years of domain experience
  • Preferred background in global mobility, relocation, and immigration
  • Proven experience managing international relocation processes for employees
  • Skilled in processing work and residence permit applications
