We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Digital Media Director to lead our digital media Centre of Excellence (CoE). This role reports to the Global VP of Marketing, Digital, Sales & Capabilities within the Centre of Excellence, influencing strategy and best practices across all markets. This role is not focused on day-to-day campaign execution, which is managed by local market teams. Instead, the Director will be responsible for defining the global media strategy, best practice frameworks, learning agendas, and measurement strategies that empower our markets to achieve best-in-class media performance. The Director will also own the key relationships with our global media agency and major media/ad-tech platforms to ensure our markets are leveraging the most innovative tools and approaches.
In this role, you will:
Lead and drive our global media strategy. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of media planning, buying, and optimization to achieve brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue goals on a global scale with a particular focus on digital.
Define, develop, and roll out a global media CoE model that provides guidance, best practices, and resources to local market media teams.
Establish frameworks, best practices and global scorecards for media planning, execution, and optimization to ensure consistency and excellence across all markets.
Serve as the internal " media and media digital expert," providing strategic counsel and thought leadership on emerging media trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
Partner and lead the global partnerships with the Global Agency and key media partners (e.g. Meta, TikTok, Google) ensuring that Kimberly Clark gets outsized support to drive media effectiveness.
Drive innovation by identifying and vetting new media platforms, emerging consumer trends /technologies, AEO strategies and strategic partners to ensure competitive advantage
Document and socialize clear KPIs/metrics, score carding and reporting that clearly diagnoses success and recommended action steps at the right level of depth and complexity for SEM/SEO
Define global key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust measurement frameworks for all digital media initiatives.
Collaborate with analytics teams to standardize reporting and provide market teams with the tools and insights needed to analyze and optimize their campaigns.
Create and manage a global learning agenda, capturing best practices, testing new approaches, and disseminating key learnings to local markets to foster continuous improvement.
Lead, mentor, and develop a small, high-performing team of two media professionals within the Global Media team.
Oversee the team's work in building and implementing the CoE frameworks, resources, and learning agendas.
Manage the CoE budget and resources effectively.

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or graduate level degree in relevant field preferred
Minimum 15 years of experience of Media, specifically digitally, planning and activation in a Global organization ideally with a Global Agency, CPG company or major digital platform.
Proven experience defining and implementing global frameworks, governance, and best practices for media teams.
Extensive knowledge of the digital media landscape, media measurement tools, analytics platforms and ad-tech.
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and to make complicated subjects and capabilities accessible, understandable and actionable for our US and international teams
Team management – ability to inspire, grow and develop team members whilst helping deliver team goals.
Strong problem solving skills and calm persistence in navigating tough industry challenges to build capabilities ahead of the curve
Demonstrated ability to articulate strategy, capability solutions and their business implications that can drive impact with Sr. Executives and Business leaders within K-C
Ability to prioritize and maintain focus in complex and shifting environments
Excellent analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to strategy.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
A creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
