You will define and drive a world-class quality strategy across design, development, production, marketing, and sales—empowering teams at our key sites in Lenzburg, Switzerland and Prague, Czech Republic. This is your chance to influence senior leaders, champion the “Voice of the Customer,” and embed a Zero Defects culture through Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. You will lead a global team, strengthen our Quality Management System, and guide transformation toward automotive standards. If you thrive on strategic impact and hands-on execution, this role offers visibility, authority, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the energy transition.

How you’ll make an impact

As Global Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement you act as a role model for the behaviors required to support a Quality & Improvement culture. Influence senior managers and peers to ensure the correct thinking and decision-making required to implement and execute Q\&CI strategies. Act independently as an internal advocate for customers in quality-related issues and decisions. Drive further development of the Global Product Group Semiconductors quality strategy, the realization of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), and the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System.

  • Lead and inspire a global Quality team across multiple sites.

  • Define and execute semiconductor quality strategy and objectives.

  • Champion the “Voice of the Customer” in all decisions.

  • Implement a Zero Defects and Continuous Improvement program.

  • Align and guide Quality Managers in Lenzburg and Prague.

  • Advance ISO 9001 compliance and transform toward IATF 16949.

  • Oversee customer quality support and failure analysis operations.

  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Develop training programs to embed quality culture and awareness.

  • Collaborate with R\&D, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver excellence.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your background

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials, or Electrical Engineering.

  • 10 years of semiconductor experience with proven expertise in quality.

  • 5 years in team leadership with strong communication and influence skills.

  • Deep knowledge of quality management systems and automotive standards.

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Business-fluent English and German.
