About the Role
The Global Education & Exchange Partner plays a pivotal role within Graduate Futures, providing subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Global Education and Exchange.
Reporting to the Manager, Experiential Education, you will contribute to the design, optimisation, and enhancement of programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Macquarie University's strategic objectives and the evolving needs of students and stakeholders. You will also manage relationships and provide support to academic staff within and across Faculties, including Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
This is a role for someone who thrives on collaboration, insight, and impact helping shape transformative global education experiences for students.
What you will do
Partner with Faculties to embed global education into curricula while leading the delivery of international exchange programs and faculty-led global experiences, including study tours, internships, industry projects, and strategic international partnerships.
Contribute to the development of plans and initiatives within Global Education and Exchange, bringing your subject matter expertise to inform program design and optimisation.
Provide tailored advice to Faculties, partnering with academic leaders to enhance program delivery.
Offer strategic guidance to support evidence-based decision-making and ensure alignment with Experiential Education goals.
Work closely with the Experiential Education team to ensure the effective delivery of Global Education and Exchange programs.
Stay ahead of emerging trends and best practices, integrating insights into program development.
Conduct research and analysis to inform program enhancements and innovation.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for growth.
Strengthen partnerships across community, government, and industry to enrich offerings and create meaningful experiential opportunities for students.
About You (Selection Criteria)
A relevant tertiary qualification, with demonstrated expertise in the higher education sector.
Proven experience in designing, delivering, and optimising programs within a global or experiential education context.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior academic stakeholders.
A proactive and forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for staying across emerging trends and translating insights into innovative program enhancements.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
