Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing a team of inside sales representatives, setting clear sales goals, and evaluating performance to measure the overall success of sales efforts. The role conducts regular meetings to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and support the team in achieving quotas. The role stays updated with market dynamics, ensures compliance, and facilitates training programs to enhance sales skills.
Responsibilities
• Sets clear and achievable sales goals for the inside sales team in alignment with the organization's overall sales objectives.
• Participates in the development of the overall business and sales strategy, aligning the inside sales team's efforts with broader organizational goals.
• Manages account planning while maintaining a sales pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Cultivates and maintains strong customer relationships, particularly with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Assesses and manages employee performance, offering guidance and support to individuals in overcoming selling challenges to drive pursuit and deal closure.
• Facilitates regular sales meetings to foster team alignment, motivation, and knowledge sharing, while also addressing challenges and promoting best practices.
• Leverages sales technology and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity within the sales process, staying updated on emerging solutions.
• Facilitates training and development programs to empower the inside sales team with enhanced product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
• Ensures that the inside sales team operates within industry-specific regulations while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Stays informed about industry trends and competitive insights to facilitate meaningful client dialogues and coach the team in consultative selling techniques.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.
