About the Role: 

The Global Brand Marketing Manager, PRO Technical supports one of Olaplex’s most foundational categories—our professional salon portfolio. This role helps drive Olaplex’s reputation as the professional’s gold standard, translating science and performance into compelling, education-led storytelling that fuels stylist advocacy and business growth.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Brand Marketing – PRO Technical & Treatments, the Manager plays a critical executional role in shaping category positioning, campaign activation, and toolkit delivery for both NPD and core professional products. The Manager partners closely with Education, Innovation, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure every program and launch reflects Olaplex’s performance-driven innovation and strengthens the brand’s professional leadership.

This is a highly cross-functional and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in execution, creative problem-solving, and bringing technical innovation to life across stylist-first channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Category & Campaign Ownership

  • Support the development and GTM execution for the PRO Technical portfolio, including both NPD and core franchise products 
  • Lead day-to-day category management, identifying opportunities to support the portfolio beyond new product launches—such as evergreen programs, education-led initiatives, and stylist engagement moments—to drive sustained category growth and advocacy
  • Manage campaign planning and execution from concept through launch and post-launch recap, ensuring alignment across Creative, Education, and Commercial teams
  • Partner with Innovation, R&D, and Education teams to translate technical inputs into clear, credible, and differentiating product positioning, claims, and storytelling
  • Develop campaign briefs and messaging hierarchies that connect science and stylist needs into accessible, inspiring communication
  • Partner with the Campaign Operations Manager to align on key deliverables, toolkits, and milestone timing to ensure flawless readiness
  • Collaborate with Sales, Education & Communications team to drive always-on advocacy programs, in-salon initiatives and professional storytelling moments
  • Partner with Strategy & Insights to analyze performance, consumer and stylist trends, and identify opportunities to strengthen category awareness and adoption

Content Development & Education Partnership

  • Ensure messaging aligns with stylist needs, PRO outcomes, and ongoing advocacy moments
  • Collaborate with Global Education to co-develop toolkits, training assets, and in-salon storytelling that ladder to the global brand strategy
  • Support Education in developing technical content for demonstrations, distributor programs, and stylist activations
  • Manage toolkit readiness and adaptation for global distribution and regional needs
  • Drive the development of evergreen and/or seasonal content that supports PRO products 
  • Partner with Creative, EDU and Social to develop toolkits, digital content, and education-first storytelling that scales across regions; define content formats and rotations needed for campaign success
  • Collaborate with the Campaign Ops Manager to ensure content needs are captured early and incorporated into broader GTM timelines and content matrices

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Serve as the day-to-day global brand marketing partner for Global Education, Pro Sales, and International teams, integrating regional feedback into campaign plans and launches
  • Collaborate with Global Education to ensure messaging, content and assets support with stylist training, in-salon activations and distributor needs
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between brand messaging, education storytelling, and commercial activation
  • Provide direction on adaptation of toolkits and launch materials for global distribution channels
  • Support cross-category collaboration by representing PRO priorities and ensuring consistency in communication and toolkit delivery

Performance, Insights & Category Ownership

  • Track category performance across sell-in, sell-through, and stylist adoption, analyzing key insights to inform future programs
  • Support post-launch recaps, documenting results and learnings to guide ongoing optimization.
  • Monitor the professional landscape and competitive activity (e.g., K18, Redken, Amika, Kerastase) to identify category shifts, tone changes, innovation trends and claim evolution
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Treatments team to share learnings and ensure synergy across the broader PRO & Treatments portfolio.

About You:  

  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in brand or product marketing within professional beauty, haircare, or salon-related categories (required)
  • Proven success executing marketing programs or product launches in the PRO channel (in-salon, stylist, or distributor environment)
  • Strong understanding of stylist behavior, professional education, and the dynamics of B2B2C marketing
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Education, R&D, and Commercial teams to translate product technology into effective storytelling
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple launches, toolkits, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability with attention to both technical accuracy and brand tone
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable; thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Marketing or related field a plus
  • NYC-based hybrid role

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
