About Technology Solutions
Our company's Animal Health Technology Solutions offers global animal identification and monitoring solutions for companion animals and livestock. These solutions enable pet owners to better manage the health and well-being of their pets and enable livestock producers to improve well-being and animal production. Technology Solutions include Core Technologies in Livestock Identification, Dairy, Beef and Swine monitoring, for which the product/market fit is established, as well as products in discovery.
Our Technology Solutions division is evolving. We are moving to a Product Operating Model – a new way of working that empowers product teams to take full ownership and accountability for delivering customer and business value in ways our customers love and that work for the business.
Our product teams are cross-functional and durable, bringing together all the skills required to deliver impactful outcomes. Each team includes a Product Manager, Technology Lead, Product Designer, Delivery Lead, engineers, and developers.

Leadership of the team is shared between the Product Manager and the Technology Lead, ensuring balanced guidance that bridges product vision and technical execution.
Product Management Role
As a Product Manager, you will be a key driver of value and viability within the product team.
You are expected to bring:
A solid understanding of business constraints (e.g., marketing, sales, customer success, finance, legal, privacy)
Deep knowledge of our users and customers, supported by data on how they engage with our products
Awareness of industry trends and the competitive landscape relevant to your product
Additionally this PM of Behavior Monitoring will be responsible for all commercial activities and alignment of our Dairy Behavior Monitoring solutions that
Leadership is shared with the Dairy Technology Lead, and you will both work with the Product Designer and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. While each team member may be accountable for a specific risk area, you are expected to embrace collective accountability, ensuring the team delivers results in that matter.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy:
Own and manage the behavior monitoring product portfolio, including current revenue responsibilities and growth targets aligned with company objectives.
Define the commercial strategy for Dairy Behavior Monitoring with a keen focus on customer value, measurable business outcomes, and superior user experience.
Define and execute the commercial strategy to sustain adoption among adult cows and accelerate adoption for youngstock.
Create high-level market valuations, compelling value propositions, and business cases for new capabilities, market expansions, and commercialization opportunities.
Identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities to inform new product development and commercial initiatives.
Customer & Market Insight
Drive continuous product discovery to understand farmer, advisor, and distributor needs; translate insights into prioritized product and commercial backlogs.
Develop and execute customer insight strategies (surveys, farm visits, customer advisory boards) to capture feedback, validate direction, and de-risk decisions.
Engage directly with farms, advisors, and distributors to demonstrate value propositions, gather insights, and remove barriers to adoption.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies (including animal health monitoring), and competitive dynamics to inform product and commercial strategy.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership
Connect delivery squad(s) directly with customers to facilitate open communication, validation, and alignment.
Collaborate with regional commercial teams to prepare strategic business plans, forecasts, sales targets, and execution plans tailored to each market.
Partner with Brand Marketing Lead to define and develop commercial and marketing documents (sales collateral, case studies, value propositions, launch materials) that support market adoption.
Work closely with the Dairy Technology Lead and R&D to translate field feedback into prioritized product innovation needs that increase adoption and customer value.
Build and maintain a network of regional champions and subject-matter experts to sustain momentum and enablement.
Work with Global Customer Success to ensure best-in-class onboarding, support models, and ongoing service for farmers.
Go-to-Market & Commercialization
Coordinate and drive pilot programs, global rollouts, and scaled deployments; ensure consistent, scalable implementation practices and customer onboarding across regions.
Drive release planning, manufacturing coordination, go-to-market execution, and ongoing product support in partnership with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and manufacturing where needed.
Engage commercial teams across regions to ensure alignment on value propositions, sales targets, and execution plans.
Support cross-functional initiatives linking behavior monitoring with broader solutions (e.g., herd management platforms, pharma‑tech integrations) to enhance value and stickiness.
Track adoption KPIs, device utilization, retention, and other performance metrics in coordination with Commercial Operations and Finance; analyze results and recommend pricing, packaging, or incentive changes as needed.
Performance & Accountability
Support the Dairy Technology Business Lead in defining budgets, five-year financial plans, and resource plans to meet commercial and product goals.
Create, maintain, and continuously prioritize the product and commercial backlog to maximize value delivery and long-term sustainability.
Define and regularly calibrate product and adoption metrics to track success and progress against objectives.
Conduct business reviews and monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform adjustments to strategy.
Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the product team.
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal/Life Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, or related areas of study.
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the industry.
Proven commercial leader with experience driving adoption of agtech, precision livestock, or monitoring solutions.
Hands-on dairy experience or livestock management (on-farm management, veterinary practice, or similar).
Strong understanding of behavior-monitoring tech (accelerometers, ear tags/collars, rumination/temperature sensors), data flows, and herd-management integrations.
Experience as a Product Manager or equivalent on technology-driven products; skilled in product discovery and delivery.
Experience running pilots and scaled deployments with cross-functional/global teams.
Commercial acumen: forecasting, business planning, and tracking adoption KPIs.
Data-informed problem-solver who balances risk and trade-offs.
Effective at influencing without authority; collaborates across engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Willingness to travel globally as required.
A mindset of ownership, accountability, and customer focus; comfortable signing up for results and driving outcomes through others when needed.
Passion for fostering team innovation and leveraging the collective ideas and expertise of cross-functional colleagues.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is
$142,400.00 - $224,100.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
