Global Asset Integrity System Specialist

Function:   

The Global Asset Integrity System Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and assurance of the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), standards, and software that ensures the safety, reliability, and compliance of physical assets across Puma Energies international operations. This role focuses on enhancing the company’s digital solution (CMMS) and building a comprehensive global asset management program that safeguards the accuracy of asset data, enhances maintenance efficiency, and promotes safety and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Global Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS), standards, procedures and assurance framework to ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, maintenance, operations, and HSSE teams to ensure adequate processes and considerations are fully integrated into the Global Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS).
  • Optimize the company CMMS (The Asset Guardian – TAG) and oversee the implementation and monitoring of the global asset register, maintenance program, inspection and testing plans.
  • Act as the specialist for the company CMMS software (The Asset Guardian – TAG).
  • Provide technical, regulatory and strategic consultation, support and training on the Global Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and Puma Energy CMMS (TAG).
  • Define the key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset integrity and analyze global data, trends, and performance metrics (KPIs) to identify anomalies.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • 15 years of relevant and practical experience in maintenance and integrity management systems within the Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry, including min 10 year in field maintenance, inspection activities planning and execution;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical preferred);
  • Additional professional qualifications in Maintenance and Integrity Management;
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant international industry codes, standards and practices relevant to asset integrity and maintenance management;
  • Experience managing complex global programs including setting goals, vendor management and executing to roadmap with cross-functional dependencies;
  • Experienced and effective problem solver, leading problem-solving teams both cross-functional and within Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Construction functions providing analytical solutions and effective actions.

  • Fluent English, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data and formulate strategic recommendations;
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • High level of interpersonal skills, including strong teamwork, negotiating and influencing skills;
  • Ability to translate technical topics into terms that are meaningful to more general audiences;
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce high level, detailed reports, policies, procedures and documentation;
  • Experience in the development and application of Learning and Development Programs;
  • Strong computer skills and superior use of Microsoft Office suite including HSSE digital platforms;
