As the ideal candidate, you will leverage your analytical and problem-solving skills and play a vital role in driving projects that enable TCAD models for next generation technologies in Power and CMOS, RF and Non-Volatile memory. You would collaborate with process integration teams, technology architects, process engineers to drive device design and architecture understanding and direction.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across Product Development teams and Technology Architects to learn about technological needs related to GF’s technology platforms
  • Utilize commercial simulation software to mimic semiconductor front end of line process flows and project the electrical performance to highlight the areas of concern and of potential improvement for existing and new device topologies. You will be directly responsible for the TCAD activity on several power devices.
  • Develop TCAD models to accurately simulate key physical interactions and phenomena, enabling the prediction and optimization of semiconductor device behavior. This could also involve establishing TCAD models for new power devices and architectures. Deliver high-quality TCAD analysis reports.
  • Collaborate closely with Process Integration and Design teams to identify simulations that highlight critical process-design interactions, driving optimal technology selection decisions.
  • Design experiments and analyze data focused on device performance, optimization and learning.
  • Engage with local and global teams, presenting work in program review meetings, working meetings, task forces, etc.
  • Strong teamwork skills to partner with peers to develop novel technology and design solutions to support GF’s product roadmap
  • Ability to self-start and learn new technology areas.
