Within our PwC Intelligent Process Centre (IPC), we help clients navigate risk in an increasingly complex and evolving environment. Our teams work across a range of critical risk areas, including anti-bribery & corruption, anti-money laundering, cybersecurity, information security, data privacy, and financial stability. We also support financial regulation projects by assessing regulatory developments and analyzing their potential impact on clients. What You’ll Work On:
As a German-Speaking Third Party Risk Management Specialist (m/f), you will play an important role in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks related to third parties, vendors, suppliers, and broader supply chain partners. You will contribute to projects supporting operational resilience, compliance, and financial sustainability while working closely with colleagues and clients on a variety of international engagements.
You will be involved in delivering risk management services as well as supporting the end-to-end process of an automated risk management tool solution. Your work will include assessing risks, analyzing relevant information, and contributing to effective risk management processes.
In this role, you will support activities related to third-party risk, supply chain risk, operational resilience, compliance, and financial sustainability projects. You will also have the opportunity to work on cross-border projects in both German and English, collaborating with an international team of colleagues from across Europe and beyond.
Your Day-to-Day:
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify risks, provide recommendations, and support the design of mitigation strategies.
Support the end-to-end process of an automated risk management tool solution and contribute to related project activities.
Perform risk assessments and due diligence for vendors, suppliers, service providers, and other third parties.
Assess third-party governance, risk, and compliance controls, processes, and procedures to evaluate resilience against cyber threats and data breach scenarios.
Assess information security and operational resilience controls, including security governance, access controls, data protection, vulnerability management, incident response, network security, business continuity, disaster recovery, service performance, and fourth-party risk exposure.
Evaluate supply chain risks such as concentration risk, single-source dependency, operational disruption, cybersecurity exposure, and financial stability.
Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Compliance, and Information Security teams on onboarding, ongoing monitoring, remediation, reporting, and broader cross-functional risk management activities.
Contribute to third-party and supply chain risk management processes, policy reviews, and governance oversight.
Support risk assessments and oversight activities related to financial sustainability projects within the ESG area, including third-party and supply chain considerations.
Review relevant data, conduct background checks, and prepare insights to support decision-making and risk evaluation processes.
You’ll thrive in this role if:
At least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: third-party risk, vendor management, procurement, governance risk & compliance, operational risk, information security, cybersecurity supply chain risk or other similar areas.
Fluency in German at C1 level and confident in English language skills, both written and spoken.
Analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive, can-do attitude and a consulting-style approach to problem-solving.
Curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
