With more than 25 years of design heritage, our ranges are created to mirror the look and feel of our Soho Houses around the world. Soho Home is an interiors collection from Soho House that includes furniture, lighting, tableware, and accessories created for, and inspired by the Houses.
The Role...
As a General Manager of Soho Home, you will be an accountable leader as well as dynamic to manage our Soho Home Berlin Studio. You will be responsible for the day to day running of every in-store aspect of the space, driving sales and delivering the Soho House experience. Leading the team and delivering in the moment feedback on experience. This role will be responsible for training and managing a team capable of delivering ‘second to none’ customer service and expert product knowledge to the public and our members. They will also be responsible for KPI attainment in line with company strategy.
Key Accountabilities…
- Recruitment of an outstanding sales team, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Finding innovative ways to deliver KPI’s set by the business and accurately reporting all sales data back to relevant teams
- Conduct monthly reviews with finance to ensure site achieves P&L and Ebitda
- Lead and create seasonal training sessions with the team to maximise product knowledge
- Collaborate with our senior leadership team on how customer service can be continually improved and maintained through key trading periods
- Responsible for ordering, managing and feeding back on product and materials needed for the store.
- Performing stock take on a monthly basis to hit business KPI on stock accuracy
- Immerse themselves in the Soho Home product to become an expert in Soho Houses interior design and style
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards with a keen commercial eye and proactive approach to trading conditions
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders across internal departments to support retail success
- Excellent communication skills with confident sales approach
Requirements / Qualifications...
- Previous experience in managing a retail store
- Proven track record of achieving results
- Proactive and can-do attitude
- Ability to think on their feet to quickly resolve queries and issues
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Accountability and responsible approach
- Fluent in German and English both written and verbal
