We are currently searching for a manager to join our team and to lead and coordinate our established group of junior and senior project managers. Our ideal candidate will have strong talent for people management and will be key in further developing our internal PMO organization.
Objectives of this role:
Implement and maintain project initiatives that follow our organizational objectives, while developing our PMO organization as a whole.
Oversee a team of junior and senior project managers, deliver on people management responsibilities and ensure key delivery targets are met.
Track and manage the capacity of the team to maximaze effective role distribution
Have complete ownership of any assigned projects and have comprehensive understanding of its components, objectives, timelines, and clients.
Organize and maintain consistent governance with all identified client groups.
Ensure client satiscation remains above the agreed target.
Ensure indiviual project goals are reached, in alignment with priorities and ways of working set for our team.
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
Daily contact with the project management team, conducting people management activities, facilitating 1-1 and team meetings.
A reactive, as well as a proactive approach to problem solving.
Managing our active project pipeline, as well exploring opportunities for additional engagements.
Developing and maintaining our PMO product model, ensuring the agreed standard is followed by the team.
Providing effective communication and ensuring collaboration across teams and clients.
Act as escalation and decision point within our project portfolio.
Qualifications:
Previous people management experience
1+ year of project management experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
Finance background is an advantage.
