• Roster that has mix of day & night shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)

• $28.38 p/h + super + shift loading (Level 3 pay grade)

About the Role

This position is primarily focused on gatehouse duties, maintaining a strong security presence while ensuring safe and efficient access control for staff, visitors, and contractors. The role also includes periodic patrols and requires a high level of autonomy and self-reliance.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and controlling access through the gatehouse

• Checking identification, issuing passes, and managing visitor/contractor entry

• Conducting occasional foot patrols to ensure people are safe and buildings are secure

• Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required

• Assisting and directing people around the site

• Writing accurate reports in response to incidents

• Communicating calmly and clearly with staff, visitors, and key stakeholders

Skills and Experience

• Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate (essential)

• Current NSW Security Licence

• Strong customer-centric approach

• Traffic control (desirable)

• Proven ability to stay alert and focused while working autonomously

• High level of self-reliance and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Working With Children Check
