Here at Brock Sports & Recreation, we strive to be a hub for innovative, engaging, and high-quality experiences in sport for the Brock University community and beyond. As an integral member of Brock Sports & Recreation, you will have the opportunity to be part of a great team in a dynamic sporting environment. Brock Sports & Recreation is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals who will be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of all varsity Basketball and Volleyball home games.

Duties may include, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the set-up and tear-down when necessary.

  • Table staff positions may include statisticians, score/clock operators, scoresheet, ball rollers, music, camera, and other event operations duties as required.

  • Attend weekly meetings regarding upcoming games and special events (when necessary).

  • Provide exemplary customer service to all stakeholders including students, fans, visiting teams, officials, and other community groups.

  • On game days arrive up to 1 hour prior to the game start time (e.g., 6pm game start, 5pm arrival).

  • Other duties as assigned by the Game Day Student Lead and/or Manager, Events & Partnerships

Qualifications

  • Enrolled at Brock University for the duration of the 2026-27 academic year.

  • Experience with PrestoStats and/or other statistical platforms is considered a strong asset.

  • Prior game day operation experience is considered an asset.

  • Dependable, punctual, and hard-working.

  • General knowledge about the sport of basketball/volleyball and their rules.

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Available for all home games for both teams (evenings, weekends, reading weeks etc.).

Compensation: Minimum Wage (Currently $17.60/hr)
