$130,000.00/Yr. - $160,000.00/Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

The FVP, Portfolio Manager Lead will oversee and manage a team responsible for the ongoing monitoring, risk assessment, and performance of a portfolio of non-real estate lender finance clients. This role is critical in ensuring credit quality, compliance with internal policies, and alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in structured finance, asset-backed lending, and lender finance transactions, with strong leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of a diverse portfolio of non-real estate lender finance clients, including specialty finance companies, consumer lending platforms, and other non-bank financial institutions
  • Ensure timely and accurate risk monitoring, covenant compliance, and performance reporting
  • Conduct in-depth credit analysis and stress testing on underlying collateral and borrower performance
  • Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of portfolio managers and analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet portfolio objectives and deadlines
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding portfolio performance and risk-related matters
  • Collaborate with credit, underwriting, and syndications teams to support new transactions and amendments
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal credit policies, and audit standards
  • Prepare and present portfolio reviews to senior management and risk committees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years in commercial lending, structured finance, or portfolio management, with a focus on non-real estate lender finance
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex portfolios
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and capital markets
