Job Summary

The Principal Gaming Portfolio Manager will serve as a strategic leader for HP’s gaming display portfolio, driving innovation and global alignment in partnership with consumer and commercial segments. This role requires deep expertise in display technologies, market trends, and portfolio lifecycle management, with a focus on OLED and advanced gaming solutions. This role is responsible for securing approval for high-level global gaming display plans and budgets, and aligning them with organizational objectives. The role also leads cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to develop and execute product introduction plans globally, creating and managaing a comprehensive GTM scorecard with associated metrics, goals, and benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Define and execute long-term gaming display portfolio strategy, including OLED roadmap and emerging technologies.
    • Influence global business direction and investment decisions for gaming displays.
  • Executive Engagement & Advocacy
    • Represent gaming portfolio in executive forums and industry events.
    • Drive thought leadership and evangelism for HP gaming solutions internally and externally.
  • Cross-Functional Influence
    • Partner with global product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure portfolio scalability and profitability.
    • Lead negotiations with key retail and channel partners to secure strategic positioning.
  • Innovation & Market Leadership
    • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify disruptive opportunities for HP gaming displays.
    • Champion unique HP innovation and ensure cross-extensibility beyond gaming into commercial and consumer applications.


Education & Experience Recommended

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or portfolio strategy, with at least 3 years in a principal or senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of influencing executive decisions and driving global strategies.
  • Deep understanding of display technologies, gaming ecosystems, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong product management background, including portfolio strategy, value propositions, and retail go-to-market strategy
  • Experience with display technology and advanced gaming features.
  • Understanding and deep familiarity with gaming culture and community
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to build compelling business cases.
  • Global market experience and ability to lead across regions.
  • Highly effective, authentic communicator to press, customers, and management of all levels

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
