We’re a team of developers, and it’s second nature for us to whip up a solution with some coding. But what about folks who aren’t developers or don’t have one in their corner? About the Team
Our team is responsible for the entire user journey, starting from how people discover Make all the way to becoming successful, long-term customers. While our initial focus has been on our public-facing website, we are now expanding our mission to accelerate growth directly within the product.
This expanded scope focuses on designing, building, and optimizing product features and experiences that drive Make's growth. We concentrate on three core areas: enabling and engaging users to help them find value quickly, designing awesome customer journeys to expand our user base, and accelerating exponential growth through referrals, sharing, and re-engagement.
We operate with an action-biased mindset, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with quick, iterative tests. Our decisions are data-driven and grounded in a deep obsession with our customers, as we work to design successful customer journeys that expand adoption, retention, and revenue.
The Role
As a Software Engineer in this team, you will have a direct and measurable impact on the success of Make. You will work across the entire product and technology stack to design, build, and optimize experiences that drive our growth metrics. This is a role for those who love to get things done and see their work translate directly into business outcomes. From improving the onboarding journey to reduce churn, to enabling A/B experiments that enhance user activation, your work will be at the forefront of our mission to empower millions of users.
