About the Role
MSS Security is seeking Full-Time Relief Security Officers to work across premium corporate sites in the Sydney CBD, all conveniently located close to major public transport.
This is a rover (relief) position, requiring flexibility to support multiple sites. We are looking for a motivated individual who not only excels in frontline security but also demonstrates the capability and ambition to progress into a Control Room position in the future.
You will provide a highly visible and professional security presence within a corporate and banking environment, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming workplace. You will be part of a customer-focused, professional team, delivering exceptional service while building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. The role operates on a rotating roster across multiple CBD locations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage access control systems and monitor CCTV
Provide professional, courteous, and timely responses to enquiries
Conduct visitor sign-ins, inductions, and maintain key and access registers
Perform internal and external foot patrols
Support site operations in line with corporate security standards
Demonstrate strong situational awareness and incident reporting
Skills & Experience
Certificate II in Security Operations and a current First Aid certificate
Current NSW Security Licence
Strong commitment to reliability, professionalism, and security best practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of computer literacy, with the ability to learn control room systems
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive approach
Demonstrated interest in career progression, particularly into a Control Room role
