Job Summary:
We are seeking a freelance frontend developer experienced in Webflow to support a short-term project with the potential for ongoing work. The immediate priority is to design and build a new Sustainability Compliance page within our existing site. The page should align with Rakuten’s brand design system, meet accessibility standards, and be responsive across all devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Page creation: Build a new Sustainability page (copy + images provided).
  • Design implementation: Match Rakuten’s brand style and layout consistency with existing pages.
  • Quality assurance: Test for accessibility, browser compatibility, and page performance.
  • Delivery: Publish draft for internal review; implement final revisions upon approval.
  • (Potential Ongoing Project) - Blog management: Uploading new blog posts, formatting copy and images within Webflow.
  • (Potential Ongoing Project) - Webflow technical expertise: Advising on bandwidth and storage capabilities, site scalability, and best practices for maintaining performance on Webflow
  • (Potential Ongoing Project) - Troubleshooting: Helping our team identify and resolve technical gaps related to CMS functionality, integrations, or site limitations.

  • Proven experience with Webflow (CMS structure, responsive design, interactions).
  • Familiarity with corporate site standards: accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly about timelines and blockers.
  • Availability to start immediately.
  • Available to accommodate for communications on PST
