As a Frontend Developer, you'll play a key role in our innovative team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our global customers.
From powering platforms like NBCUniversal’s Peacock in the United States to Sky’s NOW, and SkyShowtime across Europe in over 40 countries in Africa, one thing’s for certain, your contributions will impact millions of viewers worldwide.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, analyze, design, and showcase new features
- Help your team and other teams solve coding issues and develop best practices, and follow the current code
base guidelines
- Optimize your code, and your team’s code, for performance
- Be close to product, architecture, and design teams throughout the E2E process
- Be involved in the production support of our app by solving bugs and improving KPIs
- Know what the steps of our release process are and how their work impact said process
- Striving for continuous improvement within the self-regulated team, mentoring associates working in crossfunctional feature teams
- Contribute to the whole development cycle, analysis, implementation, testing, and operation
- Actively review pull requests to keep our code base performant and reliable
- Fully understand and apply CI/CD
What You’ll Bring:
- Development experience in JavaScript (ES6), and HTML5.
- Knowledge and experience with a good range of front-end technologies such as core JavaScript, React, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of HTTP(s), REST, and JSON.
- Ability to work well in a team, self-driven, and eager to learn.
- Creative thinking skills and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Good English skills.
- A plus: Knowledge of WebGL and Lightning TV framework in the context of tv and streaming services (awesome if you have this knowledge, but not mandatory).
