Front End Engineer

(i.e.,) are currently looking for a Mid-level Front End Engineer to join the team and own the technical delivery of products across a variety of client engagements. This role is designed to be a core member of the BAU team, supporting architecture design and technology decisions while delivering best-in-class software solutions.

Salary Banding: $102,000 - $135,000 (Inclusive of Superannuation)

About the opportunity

As a Mid-level engineer, you will have the opportunity to build interactive user interfaces that truly add value to our clients' businesses.

Your primary role is to be responsible for the development of new user-facing features and UI components within our BAU team. An important part of your role is also to partner with cross-functional teams to identify sophisticated yet simple design solutions with accessibility and performance in mind.

You will sit within a cross-functional team to support with:

  • Developing new user-facing features and UI Components.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimising applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Assuring all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end.
  • Conducting code reviews and participating in design sprints.

We value demonstrated experience in two or more of the following areas:

  • Foundational web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Modern web frameworks and building/integrating design systems.
  • Rapid prototyping and collaborative design-to-engineering workflows.
  • Experience with Sitecore or other CMS platforms is highly regarded.
