Summary: 
The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations and providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): 

  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls appropriately  

  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner  

  • Manage office supplies, including inventory tracking and request reordering as needed  

  • Support new employee onboarding activities  

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries  

  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and audits  

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly  

  • Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth daily operations  

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities  

  • Professional demeanor and appearance  

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail  

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team  

  • Strong multitasking and time management skills  

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)  

  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations  

  • Strong problem-solving skills  

Education, Training, and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred  

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred  

Working Conditions: 

  • Full-time, in-office position  

  • Standard business hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  

  • Limited PTO availability from June through September due to a blackout period  

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
