Job Details:

The role of the Supply Operations (SO) function is to Plan, Source, Make and Deliver HP products and services for our channel partners, customers and internal use on a global basis.

The Logistics Analyst, the person will be handling but not limited to, leading and managing overall HP ISO Materials and Finished Goods shipment’s plan, execution, tracing up to POD. Customs Regulatory compliance in accordance to Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) Act, Consultancy of Customs Regulations, Freight coordination and LSP management, collaboration with multiple internal and external partners, e.g., suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers, customers and In Sourced Operation. Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.

Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Job Responsibility:

• Provides complex-level logistics supporting high volume manufacturing operation.
• Solves complex issues and drives tactical and strategic initiatives, such as leading process standardizations; executing program strategies; or coordinating integration of small acquisitions.
• Monitors programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and process-oriented tasks; identifies issues and proposed solutions with limited guidance.
• Collaborates with or leads teams to maintain and enhance the current business objectives, such as cost- management, cost saving initiatives & improve operation excellence.
• Provides independent, analytic, and strategic support to logistics operation.
• Manage WW 3rd Party Logistics including Freight Operations, Logistics Service Providers, Chemical Suppliers, Hazardous Waste Supplier, Warehousing & mentors lower level contributors.
• Involvement in Data Analytics and Future Supply Chain transformation as part of Industry 4.0 vision.

Job Requirements:

• First level university degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Typically, 4-5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Operation’s Logistics Freight Operation in worldwide/global setup.
• Vast knowledge in Logistics Operations, Freight Operations involving Global Network, Order Management is a MUST.
• Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) & SST Act and regulations knowledge will be added advantage.
• Able to multitasks and take pressure constructively.
• Willingness to with partners across 3 operation sites for ops alignment and drive operations improvement plan.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of HP’s materials & distribution processes and functional contribution to business.
• Good knowledge of Freight Management, plus International Freight & Customs will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills (e.g. Customs Regulation Issues, negotiation skills and etc)
• Mastery in English and local language.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Adv Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Working experience with SAP system
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent team and project management skills, including project structuring.
• Exposure to Data Analytics and Reporting tools (Power BI, JMP and Etc) will be an added advantage.
• Fast Learner and good understanding of business needs and supports.
• Team player and able to work closely work cross functional teams not limited to SCO.
