Position Overview

As a Freezer Receiving Clerk, you will work with external truck drivers and keep records of incoming shipments. You’ll make a difference by utilizing your strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills to get the job done.

You will contribute by:

• Greeting incoming outside truck drivers and directing to proper unloading dock.

• Enter purchase order receipts into the computer system and printing receiving tags for use by the receivers.

• Contacting carrier representatives to make arrangements and issue delivery instructions.

• Conferring and corresponding with vendors and customers to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, etc.

• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

Your work environment may include:

• Cold Dock (Refrigerated) – about 10°- 30°

• Frozen – about -20° - 0°

We’re searching for candidates with:

• At least six months of warehouse experience

• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred

• At least a year of computer experience or relevant clerical experience

• Strong planning and execution skills

• Ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results

• Strong team orientation and collaboration to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with people at all levels in the organization

• Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
