In this People Leader role, you will lead the pre-launch and commercialization of current in-line and expanding pre-launch labels within the Breast Cancer (BC) franchise. This position spans across both marketing and sales to meet the needs of an increasing number of indications and assets nationwide.
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be based in Shanghai. You will head the BC Franchise Leadership Team, providing directions to various internal partners and stakeholders to ensure we effectively meet the needs of patients.
What you will be working on
Franchise Strategy: Leading the development and execution of an integrated product vision and lifecycle strategy for all products and indications across the franchise.
Financial & Operational Management: Developing and managing the franchise budget to ensure all strategic, financial, and operational goals and resource allocation efficiencies are met or exceeded.
Lifecycle & Launch Excellence: Assuming full accountability for the successful launch, implementation, and ongoing lifecycle management of the BC portfolio.
Patient-Focused Positioning: Developing market positioning using portfolio management, value insights, and key claims to benefit the patient.
Business Development: Setting up commercial teams to support business development activities, including licensing and maintaining relationships with alliance partners.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Integrating regulatory, technical, and marketing activities across the franchise to ensure a cohesive organizational approach.
People Development: Recruiting, developing, and retaining high-potential talent while ensuring a strong succession plan and a motivated, high-performance team environment.
Who You Are
Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in life sciences or a related discipline; an MBA, MD, or PhD is strongly preferred.
Proven experience leading a sizable commercial organization with a track record of implementing large-scale business plans and metrics.
In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotechnology development and commercialization processes, including P&L management.
Strong understanding of the access environment, policy, and the ability to interpret complex scientific and financial data.
A visionary, architect, coach, and catalyst (VACC) leader who thinks from a whole-system perspective.
Highly entrepreneurial, independent, and agile, with a growth mindset and the courage to engage in authentic, high-integrity communication.
A cooperative team player who can discover common ground and create win-win solutions for the good of the organization and patients.
