THE OPPORTUNITY

The FP&A Excellence Change Management Lead is responsible for developing and leading the Change Management strategy, driving system adoption, and channelling the needs of Takeda’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) community.

This role involves designing and executing change initiatives to enhance FP&A systems and processes, with a strong focus on integrating AI and Predictive Forecasting solutions. The Change Management Lead will work closely with the FP&A Excellence Global Process Owners and the Head of FP&A Excellence Business Partners to deliver insightful trainings, lead global online meetings, communicate with up to ~4,000 people, and ensure that innovative solutions are understood, adopted, and aligned with FP&A users, leaders, and the Finance Leadership Team.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead the Change Management Strategy to elevate the future Finance capabilities and skills.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of FP&A systems across the organization.
  • Support the cultural and organizational shift towards AI/GenAI adoption within Takeda Finance.
  • Identify and channel the needs of the FP&A community to enhance system functionality.
  • Lead the change management activities regarding implementation and roll-out of Finance solu-tions, ensuring significant process improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage a global FP&A community of 500 Finance Busines Partners.
  • Deliver impactful training through the "FP&A Excellence Academy".
  • Lead informational Leadership Forums for FP&A and Finance heads.
  • Engage with organizational leaders in FP&A Excellence executive check meetings to align solutions with business strategies.
  • Maintain the global FP&A Excellence SharePoint and the FP&A Excellence BLOOM Channel.
  • Prepare and align on global communications around the Finance solutions the team develops or on technical incidents.
  • Create informative videos using an AI based video maker

CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE:

  • Self-driven mindset to implement change in big organizations.
  • Robust understanding of the various Finance applications and processes and how the data flows through the various cubes of the system applications.
  • Ability to translate strategic initiatives into Finance system requirements.
  • Creative thinking in problem solving and issue resolution (incl. complex issues) and a drive to help FP&A Community to simplify and standardise FP&A processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Translates complex concepts into clear, simple messages. Adapts communication for different audiences (Executives, managers, end users). Uses multiple channels: Town halls, Emails, videos, FAQs, etc.
  • Training & Enablement skills: Identifies skill gaps and learning needs. Works with SMEs to build effective trainings, user guides, and coaching.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree & experience in MIS, Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, or a similar field
  • (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device indus-tries.
  • Good knowledge about IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) (PAW, PAfE, CFOinUrpocket™) is a pre- requisite, advanced knowledge beneficial.
  • Excellent training and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Video creation skills are beneficial.
  • Experienced with SharePoint, BLOOM Channel, and SuccessFactors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
