We’re excited to be recruiting an FP&A Business Partner to join our Finance team here in Kings Hill! In this role, you’ll have real influence over how we shape our financial performance and future direction as a business. You’ll work closely with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, providing insightful, forward‑looking analysis that drives confident decision‑making and supports strong performance across the organisation.

A big part of your impact will come from reviewing and strengthening cost and accounting practices across the Cabot Europe Group - helping to create a consistent, efficient way of working and delivering meaningful improvements through smart recommendations and hands‑on implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Act as a strategic financial partner to operational and commercial leaders.

  • Translate financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Influence business decisions through robust analysis and scenario modelling.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Support annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans.

  • Maintain a forward‑looking view of performance, identifying risks and opportunities.

  • Enhance forecasting tools and methodologies as the team’s modelling expert.

Performance & Insight

  • Deliver high‑quality monthly reporting, including KPIs and variance analysis.

  • Evaluate cost drivers and business performance.

  • Conduct deep‑dive analysis to explain trends and shape actions.

Governance & Controls

  • Ensure planning processes meet relevant financial services standards.

  • Uphold strong financial governance and audit‑readiness.

  • Support internal and external audits when required.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Champion best practice, automation, and digital improvements.

  • Strengthen cross‑functional alignment across Finance and wider teams.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Significant experience in FP&A or commercial finance, with exposure to senior stakeholders.

  • Proven business partnering capability, influencing decisions at director/exec level.

  • Strong financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis and business case modelling.

  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non‑financial stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient in Excel and an integral Subject Matter Expert in financial planning tools especially Adaptive Insights.

  • Strong commercial acumen combined with analytical rigor.
