Job Description:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) – Business Intelligence (BI) Intern
Our intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited university. The internship runs for 10 months. Working hours can be a minimum of 24 hours up to 40 hours per week, dependent on the intern’s availability. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career.
Role Overview:
As an FP&A BI Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting business entities across the region. Guided by the Sr. Data Analyst, you will design and develop Power BI dashboards to visualize business metrics, automate reporting tasks, and clean and transform financial data for accurate insights
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist to design, development, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Support the automation of recurring FP&A and management reporting.
- Extract, clean, transform, and validate financial and operational data.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and business stakeholders.
- Support month‑end and periodic management BI & reporting.
- Participate in business and analytics review meetings to understand stakeholder needs and contribute analytical perspectives.
- Document BI solutions, data models, and reporting logic.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to data quality.
Qualifications:
- Current student of Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or related field of study
- Excellent proficiency of English (B2+), both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power suite, especially Power BI and Copilot.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Self-starter
- Excellent team player mindset.
