The FP&A Analyst I provides analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements. This entry-level role participates in financial management planning to include business unit/area financial planning, overhead, and general & administrative planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and coordinating submittals to business area and corporate entities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements.
- Participate in indirect rate planning.
- Support the development and implementation of financial management plans.
- Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of financial deliverables to corporate entities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
- Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis to understand business performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.
- Ability to leverage advancing financial tech to continuously improve modeling, forecasting, and financial insights.
- Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
- Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
- Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds.
- May require occasional travel for training or meetings.
