Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): 

Job duties include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Inventory control of Materials Warehouse. 

  • Ensuring that FIFO (First In First Out procedures are followed). 

  • Ensuring accuracy of products taken to and from production. 

  •  Ensuring accuracy of outgoing shipments.  

  • Ensure all pallets coming from End of Line (EOL) are accurately labeled. 

  • Ensure that any movement of inventory is done in system at time of movement with RF scan guns.  

  • Perform end of shift pallet reconciliation with Lead. 

  • Ensuring accuracy of pulling locations. 

  • Ensure accuracy of all incoming receipts. 

  • Ensuring proper storage and segregation of allergens products is maintained. 

  • Consolidation of partial pallets. 

  • Consolidation and segregation of inventory locations. 

  • Cycle counting. 

  • Monitor safety and cleanliness of warehouse. 

  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense. 

  • Assist in disposition of non-salable product 

  • Responsible for food safety, food quality and food defense. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Working Relationship: 

Internal: Production, Sanitation, purchasing, and other warehouse staff 

External: Truckers 

 

Supervision: 

  • Does not supervise anyone. 

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

  • Ability to drive lift truck 

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. 

  • Work in freezing temperatures 

 

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills 

  • Education: H.S. Diploma or GED 

  • Experience:  1 – 2 years’ experience in a warehouse and/or production environment 

  • 2 years’ experience driving a forklift must have current/valid Utah Driver’s license 

  • Ability to read, write and speak English 

  • Ability to understand basic math concepts 

  • Basic computer skills needed preferred experience with handheld scanner technology 

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision 

  • Excellent attention to detail required 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
