About the role:  

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager assists overseeing all facets of the outlet. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and coaching of the staff. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for delivering the best in class service and can inspire the same results in their team. Must have F&B experience with menus, managing budgets for labor, food and beverage and inventory and cost control. The Four Seasons management experience is one with high levels of accountability, frequent feedback and an expectation to deliver your best every day. 


 

What you will do: 

  • Assistant the Food & Beverage Manager and other F&B operational leaders in managing the outlet
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
  • The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Handle all guest requests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve guest complaints; assist guests in all inquiries in connection with resort services.
  • Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
  • Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. 
  • Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.

Schedule & Hours:

•    Successful candidates will be hired as casual, part time employee. Successful candidates are expected to work day and night shifts, holidays, and/or weekends.
