Job Summary: This position is located at McCoy's. McCoy's includes Dining, Sports Bar, Bowling, Recreation and Leisure Activities and Conference and Catering Spaces. McCoy's Team provides high-quality service and a place to unwind for the Ft McCoy Community. This is an open continuous announcement to provide a ready pool of available applicants as needed. Major Duties:

  • Prepares a limited variety of short order, fast food items to include hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc. in a Snack Bar setting. Removes perishable foods from the freezer for daily activities.
  • Assures tables, and all work areas to include equipment and storage areas are promptly cleared and cleaned.
  • Takes delivery of supplies and ensures proper storage of shipments.
  • Accepts food orders from patrons and receives payments and completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
  • Assists in coordinating food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning up work areas. Follows all safety, security, and good housekeeping rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to work without more than normal supervision. Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order. Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques. Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions. Knowledge of basic sanitation principles. Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment. Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds and frequently walk, bend, stoop, pull, push and reach.
