About the role:

We're looking for a dynamic Client Success Leader to join our growing team at Foam. Based in Los Angeles - a hub for talent managers and agents - this role will be responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding relationships with some of the most influential talent management companies in the world.

As a trusted partner, you'll ensure our clients see Foam not just as a tool, but as an essential extension of their business. You'll combine proactive relationship-building with hands-on product training, structured feedback loops, and growth strategy to drive adoption and deepen engagement across client organizations. You own your book of business — you don’t wait to be asked.

This is a highly visible, relationship-first role that requires confidence, creativity, and hustle to meet clients where they are and want to be — whether that’s in their office, at Whalar Group’s creator campus The Lighthouse, over coffee, at lunch, or virtually.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with talent managers and agents through frequent in-person interactions (coffees, meals, office visits, events, and more).
  • Act as the face of Foam in LA — ensuring we’re seen as a partner, not just a vendor.
  • Onboard, train, and support new clients end-to-end, ensuring they’re set up for success. Own client issue resolution — triaging problems quickly, communicating proactively, and looping in the right internal teams without dropping the ball.
  • Conduct regular demos of Foam to showcase features, updates, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Client Success and Product Marketing to create and implement adoption strategies.
  • Drive adoption by encouraging broader use across teams and deeper engagement with Foam’s full suite of features.
  • Surprise and delight clients with thoughtful touches (swag, gestures, and memorable experiences).
  • Collect, synthesize, and share client feedback internally to inform product development and feature prioritization.
  • Work with the Product team to share industry expertise and ensure usability and success of new releases.
  • Represent Foam at LA-based industry events, gatherings, and client activations.
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date visibility of your client portfolio in our CRM and ownership of account health tracking. Leverage data across CRMs, analytics platforms, and internal tools to master client engagement patterns, and deliver regular, insightful reports on client health, product adoption, and overall satisfaction.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, with flexibility to travel locally for in-person meetings multiple times per week.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in client success, account management, talent management, influencer marketing, or a related agency role. Prior experience working directly at or with a talent management agency, creator economy company, or influencer marketing platform is required, not just preferred. This role needs someone who can hit the ground running with zero ramp-up on the industry.
  • Deep industry fluency: This is not a role for someone learning the creator economy from the outside. You should have lived, working knowledge of how talent agencies and management companies operate in Los Angeles and across the US: the landscape, the relationships, the language, and what managers actually need on a day-to-day basis. Experience as a talent manager, agent, high-level coordinator or in a client-facing role within influencer marketing or entertainment is a strong differentiator.
  • SaaS and product fluency: Experience working with SaaS platforms — whether selling, implementing, or using them — is required. You should be genuinely comfortable learning new software quickly, running polished product demos, and translating complex features into clear, compelling value for clients.
  • AI and tech comfort: You're not intimidated by new tools. You're comfortable using AI platforms to support your work, know how to layer your own judgment and critical thinking on top of AI-generated outputs, and can help clients do the same.
  • Data literacy: You can read and interpret user engagement data, platform analytics, and usage metrics. Experience with tools like Heap, Streak, or similar CRM and product analytics platforms is a plus. You understand how to use data to tell a story about a client’s health, about product adoption, or about where an opportunity exists.
  • Relationship builder: You thrive on building trust and long-term partnerships, with a natural ability to connect and engage at all levels.
  • Client-first mindset: Obsessed with client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Product curiosity: Comfort demoing software, training users, and explaining complex features in simple, actionable ways.
  • Self-starter: Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate independently, creatively, and resourcefully in a fast-paced environment. You don’t wait to be told where to start, and critically, you follow through. You close loops, surface issues before they escalate, and treat every client interaction as an opportunity to add value.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Equally comfortable writing a sharp client email and delivering a polished demo. You communicate with clarity and confidence — internally and externally — and you do it proactively, not reactively.

Our values:

At Whalar, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) isn't just a statement, it's our collective strength. Our people are our superpower.
