Job Summary: 

The AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The intern will gain hands-on experience executing communications strategies for AXS, the global ticketing arm of AEG, and translating business objectives into clear, audience-focused messaging. They will build practical skills in content planning, performance analysis, and execution, while learning how social media, and internal and external communications efforts support broader business goals. 

Responsibilities: 

  • The intern will support the Communications team across social media, external, and internal comms initiatives.  
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and scheduling content for social media platforms. 
  • Support the monitoring of engagement and performance analytics; help compile insights and contribute to content optimization efforts.  
  • Assist with broader external communications efforts and media relations, including planning, execution, and messaging development. 
  • Help with the development of visual content using tools like Canva (e.g., social posts, other visuals assets)  
  • Support internal communications by drafting employee-facing materials and organizing content for internal channels (i.e., intranet, weekly calls, and TV screens). 
  • Help support thought leadership initiatives including events, announcements, and key moments, as needed. 
  • Provide general team support to help ensure timely, accurate communication across the organization.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field 
  • General understanding of public relations, communications, and social media 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and apps such as CapCut and Canva (or similar) 
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and dependable, with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication 
  • General knowledge of social media platforms 
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Pay Scale: $19.00-$21.00 

Location: Los Angeles (On-Site) 

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements. 

Benefits: Part-time: This position is not eligible for benefits.
