What You'll Do
- Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns while showing empathy with sensitive situations
- Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems
- Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying pertinent information for success and confidence with at-home use of medication
- Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
- Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, and seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Remain current on company wellness initiatives, demonstrating your support to your team and the store as a whole
- Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, following all company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
- Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
- Required: Frequent travel throughout the entire division where you're hired for and/or working in
Required Certifications
- Pharmacist State License-APhA-American Pharmacists Association
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer-AphA-American Pharmacists Association
Required Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
