The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Flight Line Team Lead to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.
Position Responsibilities:
Pre-shift planning
Crew meetings
Team status updates
Labor loss
Production control
Training
Process improvement and Lean/BPS
Builds effective resource plans that support SOW execution and landmark completion with team and crew coordination
Identifies and communicates risks to First Line Leader with efficiency
Monitors and reports daily progress to plan across multiple functions
Works with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance risk
Documents and communicates shift turnover
Establishes overtime requirements, execution plan and staffing
Responsible for crew level oversight of 5S
Support teammates to improve their job performance including identifying training
Verifies accuracy of work performed and may conduct self-inspection
Ability and professionalism in support of airline customer interaction
Identifies KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and LMS Kaizen improvement actions, and follows up with actions and tasks associated at weekly Kamishibai and Gemba walks
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication experience
1+ year of formal or informal leadership experience
1+ year of 787 program experience
1+ year of avionics and/or electrical experience
1+ year of experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations
1+ year of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
1+ year of experience with Field/Flight Line Operations
Ability to work 2nd shift
Must have the ability to attain and/or maintain certifications to perform the job
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license
Team Lead experience
Familiarity with Boeing Production System
