Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.
About the role
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged Fitness Instructor for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract).
What You Will Do
- Provide a superior level of fitness instruction and experience to Four Seasons members and guests including safe, quality private and group fitness training that exceeds guest expectation.
- Responsible for providing Hotel guests and members with customized, personal attention by greeting each guest as they enter the fitness area. Provide tour of fitness areas and facilities to guests and visitors.
- Anticipate guest needs and be aware of the safest fitness approach so to adjust to the level of fitness to each guest. Provide explanations for exercise techniques and equipment.
- Develops and executes training plans and actively promotes fitness activities through guest interaction.
- Ensure that guests do not misuse free weights or equipment and are wearing suitable gym wear and shoes.
- Offer water and fresh towels to fitness guests. Interact with guest, providing full knowledge and assistance in a friendly and unobtrusive manner.
- Develop a professional rapport with each guest to help build trust and brand loyalty as well as generate more in-depth information for the client profile form.
- Resolve guest challenges with effective solutions and a bit of imagination, while being mindful of delivering consistent service.
- Maintain cleanliness of fitness area throughout each shift ensure that machines are clean, dust/sweat free and well maintained. Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and functioning properly. This includes lighting and music levels that must be correctly set and maintained.
- Provide personal trainer shift coverage as scheduled to satisfy member and guest demand and to maximize revenue.
What You Bring
- Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English are essential.
- A relevant certification to the job subject is a prerequisite.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Greek language is an advantage.

- Summer Seasonal Job - 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.
