Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. About the Role
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly motivated Bartender to join our Avra Bar team for the 2026 season (minimum 6–7 months contract). You will craft and serve beverages, provide exceptional service, and help create the lively and immersive experience that defines Avra.
What You Will Do
Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, and other beverages following Avra’s standards.
Engage with guests, describe drinks and menu items knowledgeably and enthusiastically.
Anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests, and ensure timely delivery of all orders.
Maintain the bar area: set up, break down, clean, and restock as needed.
Operate point-of-sale system, manage cash floats, and track bar requisitions.
Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service.
Follow safety, hygiene, and F&B procedures; respond appropriately to hotel emergencies.
Assist with service across different hotel outlets, events, and in-room dining as required.
What You Bring
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
European passport or legal right to work in Greece.
Previous experience in luxury or high-volume bars is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English; Greek is a plus.
Food handling and sanitation certification is an advantage.
