Overview

Deutsche Bank’s Private Credit platform is the bank’s balance sheet lending business. We are looking for a Financial Sponsor Coverage Originator within our Institutional Client Group (ICG). DB’s platform includes Direct Lending (targeting $15-$60m EBITDA businesses), Fund Finance (NAV lending, repos, TRS, private margin loans), Infrastructure and ABS lending.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and prospect for lower middle market firms that need coverage; create strategy to target clients effectively and maintain relationships
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis to help generate new revenue opportunities within the direct lending, fund finance and ABS businesses
  • Drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships
  • Generate new revenue opportunities for the FCG business; think strategically about the business, stay on top of market themes/trends
  • Responsible for covering large cap to lower middle market Private Equity firms to originate direct lending and fund finance transactions within our Financing Coverage Group
  • Partner with product teams within the firm (Financial Sponsors Group, Direct Lending, Fund Finance, ABS) to work collaboratively on delivering solutions for your client base

Skills You’ll Need

  • Private Equity Sponsor relationships
  • Series 7 & 63 (can be taken post joining)
  • Extensive experience in Fixed Income
  • Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating to various DB teams in a fast-paced environment

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is 190k-300k. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
